How & When was Arena Pro Football Invented?

Arena Football Inventor, Jim Foster created the concept at the time he was the promotions man for the NFL. He conceived the idea and concept of arena football while watching an indoor soccer match at Madison Square Garden in 1981. While at that game, Foster wrote his innovative idea on a 9 x 12 envelope, with sketches of the field, and notes on gameplay. Arena Football distinguishes its game with its own proprietary "rebound nets" system that makes it a unique brand of football that creates high-octane action for its fans. 

In 2007, the A-11 Offense was born by Co-creators Kurt Bryan & Steve Humphries, featuring fully interchangeable players with gamebreakers at every position in outdoor football that went nationwide at every level of the game over the next several years. 

In the spring of 2027, the Stockton Crusaders new "A-7 Offense" will take the field in arena pro football with dynamic athletes at every position that are fully interchangeable and will sometimes feature two Quarterbacks in the shotgun formation.
